The Conveyor Enclosure is a modular system, consisting of steel arches, support tubes, some text missing. The system is simple, quick to fit and permits belt and rollers to be inspected from both sides of the conveyor. The material being carried is protected against the wind and weather, the work environment is improved, and the environment protected because the material being conveyed stays on the belt.

Screw Conveyors

We manufacture the screw conveyors to our own design at one of our three units. Screw conveyors (also known as trough conveyors) are widely used as a way of handling bulk materials with a range of densities, including meals and powders. The advantages of the screw are its simple design, ease of maintenance, low cost, and its strong design and construction.

A screw Conveyor comprises of following main components like casing, lids, outlet, and blade on shaft. As a standard the blade (also known as flights) is continuously rolled, but it can also be supplied as ribbon segments or crescent blades. It is also standard to provide a single outlet on the conveyor, but more outlets can be added if required. A screw conveyor comes in the following sizes;

The size of screw conveyor required depends on capacity, speed, and material being conveyed. The edge of the flight on the near side of the screw slopes either upward to the right or to the left. When the upward slope is to the left, the flight is right hand; and when the slope is to the right, it is left hand.

SS Engineers & Consultants CU-Series Double Curve Conveyor offers 2 variable-angle curves in same direction and flexibility in straight lengths to fit any U-shape need. Four chain types and multiple chain widths are offered, with speed range from 5-75 ft per minute. Acetal-plastic chain is durable and operates quietly. Available in epoxy powder-coated paint and stainless steel, modular conveyor suits transporting packaged items, assembly work, and other belt-conveyor applications. 

Engineered for dependable, nearly maintenance-free operation and with options to fit almost any application, SSEC Modular Flexible Conveyors are ideal for transporting packaged items, assembly work, and applications where users have traditionally used a belt conveyor.

The CU-Series conveyor can be ordered with four different chain types in multiple chain widths and has a speed range of 5 to 75 feet per minute (1.5 to 22.9 meters per minute), with optional custom speed ranges available. It can handle an increased load carrying capacity over a belt conveyor. SSEC Modular Flexible Conveyors also come with the bed section fully assembled, with legs separate for quick assembly. All seven SSEC models feature acetal plastic chain for long life and virtually silent operation, an important consideration in today's noise-conscious industrial environments. SSEC conveyors generate one-twentieth the amount of noise of a conventional plastic conveyor system.

Hygienic Endless Belt Open belt construction for total cleaning access. There are no closed or hard to get at pockets along the length of the conveyor and the belt is accessible from both sides for proper cleaning, thus reducing the risk of bacterial growth caused by food remains after cleaning processes. Bottom in feed chute is easily removable without the use of any tools for cleaning. Motors are epoxy painted
